We built Localization.One to localize our own gaming sites with more than 150,000 daily visitors. Now we want to help indie developers ship their games and tools in every language — for free.
What you get
- A full Premium project: unlimited strings, unlimited AI translation;
- Translation into 100+ languages with context-aware AI (categories, string context, custom prompts);
- API and webhooks for CI/CD — translations flow straight into your build;
- Community translation tools: invite your players to suggest and vote on translations, with AI as the baseline;
- Export to Android XML, iOS .strings, Flutter ARB, JSON, Gettext PO, Java .properties and CSV.
Who qualifies
- Indie games — self-published games and mods without a major publisher behind them;
- Open-source projects — any project with a public repository and an OSI-approved license.
What we ask in return
A visible credit link to localization.one — in your game credits, on your website footer, or in your repository README. Something like "Localized with Localization.One". Keep it up while you are on the free program — that is the whole deal.
How to apply
- Create your project — upload your localization file and see the AI translate it right away;
- Contact us with your project name and a link to your game (itch.io, Steam, mod page) or repository;
- We review applications manually and usually enable Premium within a day or two.
What happens if my game takes off?
Congratulations! If your project gets a publisher or serious commercial traction, we will ask you to move to a regular paid plan. Until then — enjoy the free ride and ship in more languages.
